Reflection...
Exams are finally over... At least for this semester... I still have a few years to go... Just received a personal mail from my history tutor, Leander. Quite a nice fellow. Really proud to receive a personalize email since that shows that I am "something" not "nothing". =p Oops.. Am i being too egoistic? Anyway, sent him a reply on how I felt about my examinations or should I said I am merely trying to fina another person to complain to... I hope with his BIG BRAINS, maybe he could come up some tips for me in writing essays in exams...
After thinking for a few hours, I should have known why I (think I've) did badly for this semster's examinations. Although I ve been quite consistent with my readings and notes, I did not really put in enough effort during the examination period. I was lazy and most importantly, I could concentrate in studying. Plus a few other factors such as stress (Thats a factor important enough for me) I will always remember what Lisa (my "Singapore Society" tutor) told us - that it will really be a waster if one worked so hard during the semester but fumbled in examination. I totally agree with her.
I dun dare to think about my scores for the examinations now. I know its bad but since its not yet known, I am still wishing for some miracles to happen. It happened last semester. But dunno whether that will be the same for this semester...
Well... At least for this semester, I ve learn to write better in my projects and assignments... (though I sill have some problem in using words like "raison d etre", "Hitherto" etc...) Hence, for next semester, there should be no excuse that I can do badly for projects and term papers... Regarding examinations, I hope I wont be depending on luck anymore but on my own ability for the coming semesters.. Really regretted for what I've done and what I've not done in this semester... Both for my studies and for my girlfriend... She must have suffered a lot.. Sigh...
Finally, good luck to my dear fren - Bernie, for her last paper... Yoz... Hope tat when you are reading this, you will be enjoying your holidays liao... Haha...
And to myself... Zhiliang... You have tried your best but there is still room for improvement... Learn to concentrate in whatever you do... Not forgetting how to manage stress... =p Congrats for your LRT personal journals which is seleceted as the model paper for your module mates... =)
