Why Seldom Blog?...
It should be "Why Blog" in the first place...
I have learnt something from geography last semester - "gender as a performance" denoting that people are performing gender (doing what man and woman should do) daily. What so great about this concept!!!!???? People with common sense know that life itself is a performance... Blogging is one of the ultimate performance... The blogger often has a targeted audience and objective of blogging, hoping someone to read his/her blog so as to deliver certain messages across via such performances... Just like how many musical performances on stage can capture and control the audiences' emotions... To capture and control... Yes... Those are the words to describe blogs...
The variety of objectives is kaleidoscopic in nature... Reading my past blogs, I realise that there were times I wanted to be sympathized, to be praised, to be impressed, to be envied, to share my joy, to share my sadness etc... Humans need social circle... We need alliances - people who acknowledge our feelings and agree to our way of thinking in various aspects... That is why bloggers hope to influence others through their blogging skills... I've read many... There are really people with good skills...
Now... I prefer not to blog... Even when I really wanted to find people to listen to my complaints,listen to my feelings... basically listening to my heart... I prefer to keep certain things to myself...
Ironically, this blog might even have been written with subconscious objective... hoping to influence the readers... Or I might not be posting blogs for sometimes... That is because if there are private matters which I prefer to share with very close people rather than letting the masses know...
